I cant figure out how to communicate this in a way the keyword search
would understand, likely Im wasting someones time.

Anyway, I just started using Pidgin. I think its pretty much a no-brainer
and I like the community dev aspect. My first thought was, how can I get
more people to use Pidgin. Then I realized that thats the point--I dont
have to, Pidgin lets me connect to them. Genius! My next thought was
this-- I came to Pidgin because Im tired of servicing multiple accounts,
entering logins, passwords, more so, Im tired of losing contact with
people for whatever reason because services change or moods shift. Why do
I have to keep all these accounts? Its maddening! This is my tattered
history, ICQ, AOL, GMail, Facebook, Pidgin. Pidgin has helped but I wish
I had found it sooner (I cleared my old accounts prior to Gmail, I lost a
lot of middle school and high school contacts, Im still not even sure what
 it was worth).

Finally my question: Do you think Pidgin would ever offer a login to its
own chat service, rather than be a facilitator? I dont even necessarily
agree with what im saying because its probably more than a lot of effort.
Just wondering, Would I ever have the incentive to CLOSE (prefer
seamlessly transfer contacts from) other accounts when I made the move to
 Pidgin?

 Thanks

 Alex
