Comment:

 I have just verified with someone that the display name is actually
 changed.  What hasn't changed is the name that is displayed in pidgin.
 That is, if i change my dn, start a convo with someone, and ask him/her
 what my dn is, they will tell me my new dn, but the one I see in my convo
 window is still the old one. So this is just a display problem on the
 local end.
