 It was late at night, I was visiting a friend because I do not have Adium
 or a Mac, and I produced a protocol error description as is on the wire.
 Isn't the described symptom enough for someone familiar with how libpurple
 handles presence stanzas?

 Actually, I specified it in the version field for the ticket. Adium 1.4hg
 and 1.5hg were both tested. Both include libpurple 2.7.5.
