 I'm assuming the complaint here is that sounds aren't working in pidgin?
 That debug log contains no messages about attempting to play sounds. So
 you need to check to make sure you have sounds enabled in the preferences
 and that you don't have sounds muted.

 Does the "Preview" button on the Sound page of the Preferences dialog
 correctly play sounds? If it doesn't then can you open the Help->Debug
 Window and hit "Preview" and report what, if anything, the debug window
 says at that point? Also what do you have set for "Enable Sounds" and
 "Sound Method" in the preferences?
