 Hi there!

 This is weird but I tried one bizarre thing: opened the Voice/Video plugin
 configuration with the camera dettached, then I plugged it in and set the
 correct configuration. Everything seems to be working now and I
 (fortunately or not) can't reproduce the bug. I'll try this on the other
 computer with the upgraded version of pidgin (2.7.7).

 Another thing I noticed is that the video is too slow when compared to
 amsn video chatting with this same device (iSlim 1300). Is this a protocol
 or implementation issue?
