 I never said the FAQ made it discoverable.

 As I indicated in my first message there already *exists* a plugin that
 will attempt to auto-split messages for you.

 As I have said in other places (though apparently not here) I'm not sure
 that in all cases where messages get rejected we are actually ever told
 the message didn't make it through (which would make auto-detecting it
 impossible).

 As I indicated when I retitled this ticket this is now a, perfectly valid,
 feature request for a notification of the binding when we are notified
 about the error.

 I don't believe that automatically refilling is necessarily the right
 thing to do though I do think that making it easier to recall/resend isn't
 unreasonable. I'd be fine with a clickable link/button in the "message may
 not have been sent" message to recall. I'd (probably) even be fine with a
 simple pressing of the send key again resending it.
