 I'm running Pidgin 2.7.9 on Windows XP x64 SP2. Normally, when it starts,
 the contact list is shown. The size and position of the window is
 preserved from one session to another, which is good. However, I want it
 to start minimized, so I changed the Start Menu shortcut for pidgin to run
 as "Minimized" instead of "Normal window".

 Expected result: Pidgin starts minimized to the system tray.

 Actual result: Pidgin still shows a contacts window, but its size and
 position have changed. What's more, if I exit and restart Pidgin (running
 as "Normal window") it re-opens in that new location, so it has lost my
 window preferences.

 Note: this is not a duplicate of #1888 for two reasons:

 1) That ticket is about Linux and this one is about Windows.
 2) Trying to start minimized in Windows not only "doesn't work", it
 actually makes things worse.
