 The installer is too complex. There needs to be a more user friendly way
 to install pidgin and to add accounts too. I was walking someone through
 the install process over the phone and they were asking me things like
 "what is the gtk thing?" and "which components do I select". We need a
 simple way to install with all good default settings as well as a way for
 advanced users to customize.

 Also, it is necessary to have a wizard that can add accounts for users
 without having to specify ports and proxies and server addresses and all
 that.
