 Unrelated to this ticket, the portability question had been bugging me for
 a while.  I spent some time researching and discovered that Windows
 2000-2003 don't support IPv4-mapped addresses, and !OpenBSD (and possibly
 other BSDs) intentionally doesn't support it (for security purposes).
 Apache has a compile-time option for whether or not to support those, but
 for portability, it's probably best if libpurple just uses two listening
 sockets.
