Comment:

 My personal opinion on this is that Yahoo should do what we do for
 plaintext conversions, which ends up sending the text formatted as "My
 favorite IM app (http://pidgin.im)" (as you described).

 It's less important IMHO that this be reflected back to the Pidgin user.
