 This certainly isn't a bug, but arguably it isn't a completely
 unreasonable enhancement request.

 In order to do this, I think we'd have to try to detect whether what has
 been entered is a executable to be launched as a process or we should try
 to ShellExecute() to open a file with the appropriate handler.

 I'll have to see if ShellExecute() with the "open" verb will do the right
 thing with an executable file, if so then I'll make the change, otherwise
 I don't think it is worthwhile.
