Comment:

 The problem is when I uninstall libpurple Pidgin and the package ubuntu-
 desktop will be uninstalled as well. When I reinstall ubuntu-desktop at
 libpurple0 is automatically installed as well. As I do not want to
 uninstall ubuntu-desktop I can not uninstall libpurple0.

 I do not what ldconfig it and how it works. What exactly do I need to do
 to uninstall libpurple0 with ldconfig?
