Comment:

 does this need a debug report? nothing crashes. It is simply some bug in
 the updating code for feasibility of audio/video calls.

 Just do the experiment and u will find the same result. I think it is only
 a logic error/defect in the code but the code does not crash pidgin. it
 causes inconvenience to its users.
