I've seen other tickets about issues like this, but I'd like to ask a
 different question.

We have a small OpenFire server on our network for an internal IM solution
using XMPP. I have a few users that can't connect via VPN, but then they
can connect when they get back in the office. I can't say its a routing
issue because most of us can connect just fine through VPN.

One user uninstalled the app, deleted everything from %appdata%\.purple
and %programfiles\pidgin, reinstalled - then he could connect just fine
 from home.

My question is: What file(s) might I be able to delete that Pidgin would
recreate instead of blowing away the whole installation? I'm hoping
someone has a quick answer that I can script. Can I delete a quick config
file? I've tried deleting the contents of
 .purple\certificates\x509\tls_peers and that didn't help.
