 I cannot belive it is 3 years and this bug is still not fixed.  As of
 version 2.6.2, January 2010, this is still driving me completely nuts.
 Come on, it's a real, usability issue.  It is really seriously affecting
 the useability of Pidgin.  There is no valid reason that e-mail
 notifications should cause this.

 How does one go about changing the "box's size request on resizing the
 window"?
