 What if all the protocol icons for a metacontact were shown on that
 metacontact's line, until you expanded the buddy, in which case all icons
 would be shown individually? Currently in Pidgin, the protocol that's at
 the top of the metacontact's account list is shown, and the others are
 hidden. Examples of my suggestion can be found in BeejiveIM for the
 iPhone, and its metacontact system.
