 My network has proxy that listens connections on 80 port and doesn't allow
 to connect to 5222 port of jabber servers. Also proxy requires
 authentication. So my pidgin connects to 443 port of jabber server using
 legacy ssl. This configuration worked fine till version 2.6.4.
 Looks like trouble is in either port number of proxy or proxie's
 authentication.

 The bug is found in  OpenSolaris and Debian Sid.
