New description:

 Hi, we just discovered a little annoying bug in pidgin's hyperlink parser.
 e.g. in the main chatwindow submitted string like
 "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/iPod" highlighted and linked only as a
 "httр://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/" iPod, i. e. without "iPod" in hyperlink
