 I have this same issue.  I am running the same background switcher.  This
 happens under Windows 7-64(I didn't seem to be happening under Vista64).
 I did notice that it happens after I allow the machine to idle and the
 screens go to saver mode.  I will also try disabling the background
 switcher to see if I can duplicate it without it running.  If I can ask,
 does changing the background make a difference?
