 Pidgin 2.6.4 (libpurple 2.6.4) 3c54c32773c1f4469b35603025eb4516315aebf0

 When the interface language is set to German, the menu shortcut for
 turning the log on and off is set to "shift-M" ("Mittschnitt"). This is
 interpreted globally, even if the menu "Optionen" is not open, so you
 cannot type a capital "M" in any message. The logging state is switched
 instead.
