 The functionality hasn't changed; file transfer with the Google Talk
 client (the downloadable thing) just ''is not supported''.  In fact, I
 don't think this is even a 3.0.0 thing, other than that that was a "Way in
 the distant future" milestone.  Patches welcome is probably more accurate.
