 On the afternoon (GMT) of 27th Jan 2010 the MSN Jabber transport I use
 (msn.fsinf.at, which is based on libpurple) with Google Talk suddenly
 died.
 I changed to connect to my @live.com address directly and get "MSN Error:
 user not found" and my contacts don't display.
 I tried my @hotmail.com address on the same computer, using the same
 Pidgin and there are no problems.

 I have also observed the issue in any software which uses libpurple:
 Finch, Meebo and my Jabber transport. The issue does not occur in eBuddy,
 Empathy or Hotmail's web messenger.

 In Pidgin, if I tick "Use HTTP Method" in Accounts > @live.com > Modify >
 Advanced tab, the "MSN Error: user not found" is still displayed, but the
 contacts display and I can use Pidgin normally.

 UPDATE 28.1.10 11:30 GMT:
 "MSN Error: user not found" is no longer displayed using @live.com, and
 "Use HTTP Method" is no longer required. However, the issue with the
 transport remains
