#12273: Typed Text Sometimes Gets Sent To Wrong Window Midsentence

 I'm not sure what could possibly cause this, but every so often (it's
 happened three times in the past week) I'll be typing text in one window
 and all of a sudden it seems like the keyboard froze up. But when I go to
 another window, the text that went "missing" is in that window's input
 field instead. I'm staring at the screen the entire time I'm typing and no
 window switching is occurring, and the windows that the text gets sent to
 erroneously are not new ones that just popped up. One time half a phrase
 and the enter key got sent to another window, which caused some confusion
 in that conversation. I'd rather not accidentally type private info into
 an irc window.
