 That wouldn't work then, unless buddies can be members of more than one
 discrete group.  As it is, the footprint pidgin takes on my screen is too
 large -- adding another discrete group and COPYING (note, need to keep
 these buddies in another larger group now, too) these 4-5 individuals to
 that group would expand the pidgin footprint several inches larger than my
 screen has room for.  No, I need to be able to create such a group on-the-
 fly for a specific message.   Good idea, though.   I'll see about grabbing
 that plugin for other purposes.
