 I'm using version 2.6.4 for Debian and I cannot create nor join any AIM
 chatrooms. If I add the chatroom to my buddy list, I am sometimes able to
 join it, but not always. And I'm not getting any error messages when I
 cannot join, nothing happens.

 Even when I can join, I cannot see other people who have joined after me.
 If I disconnect and reconnect, then I can see them (but then they have not
 joined after me anymore).
