 I am using Pidgin 2.7.1, but this problem already occurred in 2.7.0.
 I waited until 2.7.1 before filing this bug because I thought it might
 have been fixed now, but it is not.

 This is the description of the problem:

 If the chat partner is using QIP, he or she will see HTML tags in ICQ
 messages sent by me.


 As I don't need formatted messages at all, would it be possible to add an
 option in the ICQ plugin to disable HTML support at all and behave like in
 2.6.6 and before?

 In 2.6.6 and before, I never had had such problems...
