 Pidgin 2.7.1 on Linux:
 The issue here is that the HTTP request made by pidgin to
 http://vcs1.msg.yahoo.com/capacity is not using the configured proxy
 credentials and as this request is not getting any replies pidgin will
 show error. I noticed this by running pidgin with the -d option and in the
 same I had a packet capture running.
