 This is not a feature request so read the whole thing.

 I recently noticed that on the official MyspaceIM client on the Myspace
 website it allows you to add only specific friends you want to your list
 and at that up to 200 of them, so I configured the official client to
 allow only 4 of my friends to contact me on MyspaceIM. Then I went back to
 Pidgin and added my friends from Myspace.

 When I added my friends from MyspaceIM too many appeared. It did work
 somewhat as I expected as less contacts appeared as did before I
 configured the official client.

 However, it is already known that there is a problem with the number of
 friends added to the list from [http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/2918
 #2918].

 The true problem occurred when I added my friends again from MyspaceIM. An
 additional friend was added this time (more than the last time too many
 were added).

 Overview:

 First time - 4 to add / 7 added out of 8 or 9 total

 Second time - 4 to add / 8 added (including Tom who is never supposed to
 be added by default) out of 8 or 9 total

 I changed nothing between trials except move contacts around by dragging
 and dropping (and experiencing the bug in
 [http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/9936 #9936] /
 [http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/11181 #11181])

 The attached log shows Pidgin a certain number of friend refreshes later
 supposed to be adding 5 but adding 8 (which at this point is all my
 Myspace friends).
