 Added a log. Empathy, within a few seconds of that log being taken, shows
 icons for both.

 Buddy1 + Buddy2 are the accounts in question, me1 and me2 are mine, buddy3
 just happened to show up.

 Thanks for any help/suggestions.

 I have just started a new pidgin profile up to check if that works. Should
 probably have done that sooner, sorry. I'll post back with the results.
