 I have done some more testing.

 I have created a new MSN account and it works fine in Pidgin, but when I
 tried my real one, that I have successfully used for years with Pidgin, it
 always returns that error.

 I have deleted the account from Pidgin and Re-added it, no luck.
 I have removed the blist xml file, I have deleted most of my contacts
 (there are only 60 left now), still it won't connect. It does connect fine
 with any other client (web messenger, ebuddy, msn on my blackberry, native
 client, trillian), just not with Pidgin. It just stopped working from one
 day to the other.

 What I did notice is that even though I deleted the account from my
 Pidgin, and removed the blist xml file from .purple, when I re-add the
 account to Pidgin and try to connect it still is loading contacts that
 already have been removed. Where does it get this from? The debug log
 mentions many old contacts that I removed from my messenger, so I have no
 clue where it gets this data from? Maybe this is causing the error?

 I hope this can be solved, I really like Pidgin, and right now I have to
 run another program just to be online with MSN :(
