Comment:

 After disabling the "nautilus" plug-in, pidgin does not crash anymore
 after Kerberos ticket expiration.

 I tried it with versions 2.5.8 and 2.7.1 - they both stopped crashing.

 Thank you so much for your help!!!

 (NOT RELATED TO THE BUG) By the way, version 2.5.8 shows a status picture
 in the system tray, while version 2.7.1 shows some weird meaningless
 picture which looks like some error icon. I assume that is not how it was
 meant to be.
