 I facing same problem. I am unable to login to yahoo from pidgin 2.7.1,
 always getting following error message.

 "account locked: You have been logging in too frequently.  Wait a few
 minutes before trying to connect again.  Logging into the Yahoo! website
 may help."


 Yahoo messenger is working fine, whenever i connect it logs me in.
