 I still can't recreate this (with current im.pidgin.pidgin head and
 firefox 3.6 on Windows XP) - when I set `network.standard-url.escape-utf8`
 to `false` and copy/paste the above URL it still is pasted successfully
 (it isn't linkified correctly (the "http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/" part is
 linkified, but "Телепортация" part isn't), but that is a different issue
 (non-Windows specific)).

 One thing that is different is that I have Glib 2.20.5 (but still GTK+
 2.14.7) - I suppose this might have something to do with it.
