 Thanks for that link, this looks to be exactly the problem; I've installed
 2.6.6 and am running under GDB right now. The problem seems to take a
 while to expose, so perhaps we should close this ticket and I'll re-open
 if we hit it (appending a new bt full).

 Closing pending recreate.
