 I can also reproduce this on pidgin 2.6.5 and 2.6.6. The system is an XP
 SP3 running on core2 duo E6600. I have two yahoo accounts connected.

 It doesn't seem to be related to the number of messages I have in the
 conversation windows, in my case. CPU usage was as high as 50% (not peak
 usage). When I right click on the message window title bar and the window
 menu appears, pidgin CPU usage drops to 0%.
