 I didn't do Preemptive, but I did restart Pidgin and let it sit here like
 normal.  Went to the other room and when I came back, my screen saver was
 up, but I didn't have to type my password to get back in.  Buddy list is
 empty, status shows Available waiting for network connection.  The
 computer did not go to sleep.  I've pasted the debug log into a text file
 and will upload.
