 That's too bad - yes, you were only supposed to replace the one DLL.

 There has to be something different about your setup.  It could be related
 to the GTK+ theme that you're using (by default it would be the `MS-
 Windows` theme, but you can use the instructions [wiki:"Using
 Pidgin#win32_gtk_theme" here] to try a different theme).
