 During the day, buddies tell me that they continually see me "logging off"
 and "logging on" throughout the day, without me making any changes.  This
 problem appears to come through my gmail/GoogleTalk client, as the
 messages they see are usually:

 "myaddress"@gmail.com/175712A4 is offline and can't receive messages right
 now.

 Often, this will accompany a short break in connection with buddies, where
 I cannot chat.
