 I have been having a VERY strange issue with Pidgin for quite some time. I
 will try my best to explain what happens. I don't have a debug log as of
 yet, but I have it open in hopes it'll catch it when this happens again.

 Essentially, what happens to my Pidgin client is that after it sits
 "dormant" for some time, it seems as though it stops communicating with
 the AIM servers, but does not show me any kind of error or disconnected
 message. Pidgin will continue to show me my AIM buddy list even tho to my
 friends I show up as offline. It even goes so far as to not allow me to
 send or receive any IMs. I am forced to manually disable and re-enable my
 AIM account (ONLY the AIM account) to regain my status online and be able
 to chat. It should also be noted this issue is only present on my desktop
 computer; My laptop does not experience this issue regardless of where I
 am located (school, work, home).

 If anyone has any idea what is causing this, ideas to try, or what
 specific types items in the debug log I should look for, I will try them
 to my best. I appreciate in advance any help that gets me closer to fixing
 this annoying problem.
