Comment:

 If, facebook is now prepending a "-" instead of a "u", they are surely to
 blame.
 I was not using pidgin for 2 days, and it just seems to be a coincidence
 of changed Facebook behaviour together with the pidgin update today.

 Sorry for the false alarm.

 However, It might be nice to tell pidgin-Facebook user about this fact,
 and give them a guideline to change the directory names appropriately to
 find their old logs.

 the directory names for logs in
  .../.purple/logs/jabber/indigo3k at chat.facebook.com
 have been something like "u1234567890 at chat.facebook.com"
 These logs are still present!

 New logs are created in directories like
 "-1234567890 at chat.facebook.com"

 Old logs are expected to be inside new-named directories, of course, and
 thus are not present in the view of pidgin.
