 Perhaps you're looking for Tools -> Preferances -> Conversations ->
 Minimum input area height in lines.

 Also commenting on the Flashing thing while I agree the patch is nice and
 thanks for
 making it datallah :) such an obvious bug and one that makes using the
 client a very large task on Windows should've been picked up in some sort
 of testing...
