 Because many networks (in my case, Facebook and Gtalk specifically) use
 the XMPP protocol, I have 3 such accounts, but only have one type of
 protocol icon show up in my buddy list: XMPP.

 In a future version of Pidgin, could we assign a custom protocol display
 icon to an individual account? Or at the least, add the Facebook XMPP
 "protocol" to the Account type menu just like Google Talk is already and
 then force both Facebook and Google Talk to use their own respective icons
 rather than switch to generic XMPP accounts once you save them?
