 On windows, I have pidgin set to open on startup. Tray icon is set to
 "always". However, sometimes the tray icon does not appear, even though
 pidgin is open and ready. I have to open pidgin (I have only one instance
 allowed) and then go into preferences, and switch tray icon settings to
 something else, then go back to always, to show the tray icon.
 On a similar note, when changing status, Pidgin's icon does not always
 change. If I go from available to offline (MSN network, I only have one IM
 account open), the icon does not change unless I switch its mode to
 something else, then go back to always.
