 I have a "Languages" context menu item in the conversation textarea
 (GTK+/GTKSpell fc13). It works fine but the language is always reset to
 default when I open a new conversation window. The "Switch Spell" plugin
 doesn't help (may be because of it's non-GTK nature).

 I believe there should be a profile for each buddy with his/her language
 and other useful notes (location+timezone, genre, custom icon etc). And
 this language should be preselected for all new conversations.
