 The switchspell plugin is most definitely a GTK+ plugin--it ''has'' to use
 gtkspell in order to change the language.  Switchspell will only work if
 it's built properly--for example, if switchspell is built against a
 gtkspell that uses aspell it will not work with a gtkspell that uses
 enchant.  If Fedora 13's gtkspell uses something other than aspell or
 enchant, this is the problem, as switchspell currently doesn't work with
 any other backends.
