 Has there been any progress with this?
 I am having a similar problem with pidgin - some messages from people on
 my contact list are not being delivered to me - the difference is that
 they are using msn / windows live messenger.
 I have noticed this problem for a while now but haven't had the time to
 report it.

 Before the current version of pidgin these messages would be delivered
 after I logout and sign back in to pidgin - the same way windows live
 does- but now it does not do this any more... I just dont get the
 messages.  I thought the upgrade would have fixed it but it kinda made it
 worse in that sense but everything else works perfect.
