 I am active on a language channel and am annoyed by the fact that my
 Pidgin prints out  ' as ´. Pidgin developers blame  GTK+, but that does
 not solve the problem for me.

 This seem to be an issue on only Windows and the other Pidgin users I
 asked do not have this issue. Unfortunately they are all using Ubuntu and
 therefore do not have the problem.

 No, Pidgin does not suck and I have no interested in either switching to
 X-Chat or mIRC, nor to Linux. I do however would love my ' to be printed
 as ''s. (acute accent vs apostrophe)
