 Since this morning 9:00am UTC+01:00 I cannot connect to MSN Messenger with
 Pidgin.

 I get a error window with the message:

 SSL Certification error

 Unable to validate certificate

 The certificate for omega.contacts.msn.com could not be validated. The
 certificate chain presented is invalid.
