 Xfire is able to connect to MSN just fine & the messenger hasn't had an
 update since July, so I think it's more of an issue with the way
 '''Pidgin''' is handling the certificates.  The fix that '''njw''' posted
 did seem to fix the issue though; I haven't had an issue with it since.
