Comment:

 Changing the buddy's name is only planned behaviour if the buddy changed
 names.

 If you want to limit the log that is posted, then you only need the parts
 that are prefixed with msn, during your conversation. Maybe 10 lines or so
 will be sufficient.

 Alternatively, you can send the log to <nick> @ pidgin.im.
